We welcome you to our Catholic Education Program(CEP). We consider ourselves blessed to have you and your family as a part of our parish community at the Shrine of St. Padre Pio. It is an honor to help you in the faith formation of your children, which is by far the greatest mission undertaken by you as a parent. A parent who embraces this mission ultimately reaps the reward of seeing their children grow into adults who are committed to living a life of virtue, governed by Christian principles. We recognize that the faith of a child begins in the family and that the family lays the very foundation from which it will grow. The family is the primary place for evangelization, for passing on the rich heritage of our faith.
The goal of our Catholic Education Program is two-fold in nature. The first is to bring children to know, love and serve God. The second is to help children to bring faith to life and life to faith. The latter is the biggest challenge for our culture today. It requires that we help children to see their faith in light of their everyday situations and decisions. We accomplish this through class attendance, attendance at the Sunday liturgy and other faith community events.
We are excited about this year and the opportunity to help you in the faith formation of your children. Thank you for your support of our program.
